About the Role: The Office Administrator & PA to the Principal is a vital role within our school,
acting as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and staff. This position requires a friendly
and professional demeanor, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage a busy and
varied workload. You will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Principal, ensuring
the smooth and efficient running of the school office.

Salary: Market Related

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reception Duties: Greet visitors, manage the switchboard, electronic communications, school
    announcements, and maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area.
  • Principal’s PA Support: Manage the Principal’s calendar, schedule appointments, and handle
    confidential information with discretion.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support, including filing, attendance
    registers, receipting, learner profiles and school announcements.
  • Student Support: Assist with student inquiries, the sick room and ensure medical aid kit stock is
    available and constantly refreshed.
  • Other Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned by the Principal.
    Essential Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Office Administrator and/or PA, in a school environment is advantageous.
  • Police Clearance and Sexual Offenders Register Clearance Certificate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional manner.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
