Role Introduction: Event Planning Sales Agent

As a Virtual Event Planning Sales Agent at Eventors, you will play a pivotal role in transforming how events are planned and executed. This dual-faceted role combines the dynamics of sales with the creativity and meticulousness of event planning. You will be the primary point of contact for clients seeking to plan events, guiding them virtually through the journey of vendor selection, planning, and execution. Your role is crucial in ensuring that each client receives personalized attention, expert advice, and exceptional service, leading to successful and memorable events.

Job Requirements:

  • Remote: Cape Town
  • Hours: 6 pm – 2 am
  • Fast and reliable internet and Laptop
  • Battery backup for load shedding
  • Proven Experience in Event Management/Event Coordination/ Event Assistant is REQUIRED
  • Starting Salary: R15000 (Salary will be reviewed)

Role Responsibilities:

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Client Consultations: Engage in daily communications with potential and existing clients to understand their event needs, preferences, and budget.
  • Vendor Recommendations: Utilize the company’s platform to match clients with suitable vendors, including caterers, decorators, entertainers, and more, based on their event requirements.
  • Sales Follow-ups: Conduct follow-up communications with clients to advance the sales process, address any concerns, and ensure their satisfaction with the proposed solutions.
  • Vendor Recruitment: Proactively research and identify potential vendors that align with Eventors’ standards and target market. Engage in outreach efforts to attract new vendors to join the platform. Maintain a well-curated list of quality vendors across various event categories.

Weekly responsibilities:

  • Sales Meetings: Participate in weekly sales team meetings to discuss progress, share insights, and strategize on improving client engagement and conversion rates.
  • Event Planning Coordination: Coordinate with vendors and clients to ensure all event planning aspects are progressing smoothly and assist with Floor Plan Design.
  • Performance Review: Analyze your sales and planning performance weekly to identify areas for improvement and adjust strategies accordingly.

Monthly responsibilities:

  • Market Analysis: Conduct a monthly review of industry trends, competitor offerings, and client feedback to stay ahead of market demands and improve the platform’s vendor offerings.
  • Client Feedback Collection: Reach out to clients post-event to collect feedback on their experience with the platform, vendors, and the overall event execution.
  • Professional Development: Engage in ongoing learning and professional development activities to enhance your sales techniques, event planning knowledge, and understanding of the latest industry trends.
