Amdoor is Hiring a Bookkeeper / Admin Manager in Cape Town

Amdoor is a well-established custom wooden door and window manufacturing business are looking for a strong bookkeeper & Admin Manager to play a key role in this evolution.

This is not a basic admin role.

We are looking for someone who can take ownership of cashflow, bring financial discipline, and help the business run efficiently on a day-to-day basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full responsibility for cashflow management
  • Active management of debtors and collections
  • Control of creditors and supplier payments
  • Monthly financial reporting (clear and accurate)
  • Oversee invoicing and general admin systems

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years experience in a bookkeeper/admin role
  • Strong understanding of cashflow in an SME environment
  • Confident and assertive (especially with collections)
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable working closely with a small management team
  • Proficiency in Pastel, Pastel Payroll and Excel
  • Ideal candidate will have worked in a manufacturing working environment
  • Applicant should have a matric with maths and a diploma in bookkeeping
  • Bookkeeping to trial balance
  • Should have experience with SARS returns
  • Candidates must live in the southern suburbs of Cape Town

Your Activities will include

  • Capturing daily financial activities on Pastel and Excel
  • Monthly Vat returns
  • Working closely with our outside professional accounting company.
  • Preparation of wages on Pastel Payroll
  • Working with Bargaining Council when required
  • Employee related tasks including contracts
