Jackson Law Firm, P.C. is a personal injury and workers’ compensation law firm based in St. Louis, Missouri. We represent injured clients throughout the St. Louis area in automobile accident cases, premises liability, workers’ compensation, and related matters. We are growing and looking for a sharp, organized, and highly motivated Legal Virtual Assistant to join our team and deliver excellent service alongside our attorney.Mandatory Requirement — Read Before Applying
Prior experience working for an American law firm is required for this position. Applications from candidates without verifiable U.S. law firm experience will not be reviewed.
Special consideration will be given to candidates who have previously worked for a personal injury law firm in the United States. If you have hands-on experience with U.S. personal injury intake, medical records retrieval, demand letter preparation, or insurance adjuster communications, please highlight this prominently in your application.
What You Will Do
- Answer all incoming calls via RingCentral; collect client information and connect calls to the attorney.
- Manage the attorney’s Google Calendar — schedule consultations, client calls, court appearances, and depositions (no same-day scheduling without explicit attorney approval).
- Triage and manage the firm’s Gmail inbox; draft routine correspondence for attorney review and approval before sending.
- Order and track medical records using YoCierge, the firm’s primary records retrieval platform; obtain attorney approval before submitting any order.
- Prepare medical authorization bundles for client signature using YoCierge’s YoSign electronic authorization system, with paper backup authorizations available when needed.
- Organize and maintain all client files in CasePeer case management software using the firm’s file naming conventions.
- Assist in migrating existing client files from Google Drive into CasePeer.
- Open insurance claims and send Letters of Representation (LORs) to adjusters for attorney review.
- Assist with bill verification and demand letter preparation.
- Submit a daily End-of-Day Report covering completed tasks, problems encountered, and incomplete items.Requirements

Requirements
- 4-year university degree or international equivalent — required.
- Exceptional spoken and written English — clear, professional phone presence is non-negotiable.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Google Suite — Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, and Google Docs.
- Ability to learn new software quickly — CasePeer and YoCierge training provided.
- High attention to detail — especially in document naming, file organization, and correspondence.
- Self-starter who follows through without constant supervision.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, professional home office environment.Strongly Preferred (Special Consideration Given)
- Prior experience at a U.S. personal injury law firm.
- Familiarity with U.S. personal injury workflows: intake, medical records retrieval, demand letter preparation, and insurance adjuster communications.
- Experience with CasePeer, Filevine, Litify, or similar U.S. legal case management software.
- Familiarity with U.S. medical terminology and billing codes.
Compensation & Terms
- Salary – $1,700/month USD
- Schedule – Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST
- Annual Bonus – Eligible for annual performance bonus at attorney’s discretion based on firm performance
- Probationary Period – 90 days, with benchmark reviews at Day 30, Day 60, and Day 90
- Vacation – 15 working days per year
- Sick Leave – Per applicable firm policy
- Payment Method – Monthly via Wise (international bank transfer)
