Broadband Infraco, is a long distance national and international optic fibre connectivity network infrastructure provider based in Radiokop, seeks to appoint a suitable candidate to the following employment opportunity:

• THREE (3) MONTHS FIXED TERM CONTRACT

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Senior Manager: IT the incumbent will:

• Assess and plan for the organisation’s future IT infrastructure needs.
• Perform IT infrastructure capacity planning and establish infrastructure security
  requirements to ensure systems environments are adequately scalable for anticipated
  growth and availability.
• Architect, design and coordinate the implementation of virtualization solutions in the IT
  infrastructure environment.
• Install, configure and maintain windows servers, cisco routers and firewall.
• Monitor and optimise servers and network performance.
• Manage active directory, MS exchange server environment and IT infrastructure network
  topology
• Define, implement and manage IT infrastructure security policies and controls. Coordinate
  and implement security measures to safeguard the IT infrastructure environment.
• Plan, design and implement IT infrastructure solutions including virtualisation and cloud
  solutions.
• Project Manage the roll out of IT technical projects to completion.
• Create, test, and maintain a Disaster Recovery DR plans.
• Support Disaster Recovery requirements for enterprise server virtualization and cloud
  environments.
• Ensure that IT infrastructure related issues are logged according to the incident
  management process.
• Develop management reports for the IT infrastructure related service requests follow the
  request for service process.

Qualification and Experience:

• Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)is essential. Cisco Certified Network
  Professional (CCNP) is essential.
• ITIL is an added advantage.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in administering, supporting and managing
  LAN/WAN and virtualised environments.
• Experience in managing Windows 2008/2010 Active Directory and Exchange
  2010/2012 (Setup, configuration and support).
• Experience in managing Microsoft SQL server 2008 or higher.
• Microsoft system centre products (SCCM, SCOM, SCVMM).
• Experience in managing and administering virtual environment using VMware or
  Hyper-V. Extensive experience in LAN / WAN technologies and routing protocols
  such as TCP/IP.
• Experience in administering cisco routers, switches and firewalls.
• Experience of backup systems and disaster recovery procedures.
• Systems Architecture Experience. Experience and understanding of VOIP
  solutions.
