Valley is an AI-powered LinkedIn outbound platform that helps B2B sales teams run signal-based campaigns at scale. We’re a 14-person team doing $2M+ ARR, backed by investors including Jason Calacanis and O’Shaughnessy Ventures.
Role Overview
This isn’t a calendar-and-inbox EA role. You’ll be my right hand – managing my email, following up on sales, keeping my pipeline moving, handling Stripe, supporting customer onboarding, filling operational gaps, and building decks when needed. Some days you’re an EA. Some days you’re a pseudo-COO or chief of staff. Whatever needs to happen, you make it happen.
I need someone who learns how I think, how I write, how I make decisions – and starts doing things before I ask. You’re a sponge for context. You pick up patterns fast. You figure out what matters and what doesn’t. Every week you should be taking more off my plate.

What You’ll Do
Email & Communication Management
- Manage my inbox – respond on my behalf, flag what needs my attention, kill the noise
- Learn how I write and how I answer questions so your responses sound like me
- Draft emails, follow-ups, and messages I can send with minimal edits
- Be fast – response times matter
Sales Support
- Manage sales follow-ups – make sure nothing slips through the cracks
- Keep the pipeline updated in HubSpot
- Chase down deals that have gone quiet
- Help me stay on top of what needs to close and when
Calendar & Schedule Management
- Own my calendar – schedule meetings, protect my time, handle rescheduling
- Know what matters and what can wait
- Make sure I’m prepared for important meetings
Operations & Admin
- Manage Stripe – invoices, billing questions, payment issues
- Support customer onboarding when needed
- Fill operational gaps – if something needs to get done, you figure it out
- Build decks and presentations when needed
Proactive Problem Solving
- Constantly think about ways to make my life easier
- Identify things I shouldn’t be doing and take them off my plate
- Anticipate what I need before I ask for it
- Learn quickly what matters and what doesn’t
Pseudo Chief of Staff
- Step into COO/chief of staff mode when needed
- Coordinate across the team to move projects forward
- Be the person who makes sure things actually happen
- Think like an owner, not an assistant
Who You Are
- 3+ years as an EA, chief of staff, ops, or similar role supporting a founder or exec
- Obsessed with AI tools – you use them daily to make yourself and others more productive
- Insanely fast response times – you don’t let things sit
- You’re a sponge – you absorb context quickly and remember everything
- You learn how someone thinks and writes and start anticipating what they need
- Proactive to the point of being annoying – you’re always five steps ahead
- Resourceful – you figure things out without needing to be told how
- Thoughtful – you think about the second and third order effects of decisions
- You can context-switch between inbox management and building a deck in the same hour
- High attention to detail but know when to move fast vs. be perfect
- Comfortable with ambiguity – you don’t need a playbook
- Stable work-from-home setup with fast, reliable internet
- Available to work 9am – 5pm EST
Bonus
- Experience at a startup or supporting a startup founder
- Background in sales ops, customer success, or B2B SaaS
- Experience with HubSpot, Stripe, or similar tools
- You’ve built decks and presentations before

- I spend less than 30 minutes a day in my inbox
- Pipeline is clean and deals are moving because you’re chasing them
- You’re anticipating what I need before I ask
- You’ve become indispensable – I can’t imagine working without you
In 6 months:
- You’re operating like a chief of staff on key projects
- You know my business, my priorities, and my communication style cold
- You’re taking entire workstreams off my plate
- The team sees you as someone who makes things happen
