The Opportunity
A rare opportunity has become available to join our growing international sales team.
As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will create opportunities with municipalities across Canada. You will be the first point of contact for many organisations, introducing local government leaders to innovative solutions that improve governance, automate business processes, and enhance community service delivery.
This is not a traditional sales role. It’s about starting meaningful conversations, understanding challenges, and opening doors for our senior sales consultants.
You’ll succeed if you enjoy building relationships, are resilient in the face of rejection, and are motivated by achieving goals through consistent daily effort.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Research and identify prospective municipal clients.
- Generate new business opportunities through outbound phone calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other digital channels.
- Tailor messaging to different stakeholders within local government.
- Conduct discovery conversations to understand client challenges and goals.
- Qualify opportunities and coordinate meetings with senior sales consultants.
- Maintain accurate records within HubSpot CRM.
- Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to maximise pipeline growth.
- Continuously develop your understanding of local government and our solutions.
- Represent GovernmentFrameworks.com with professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm.
