The successful candidate must be a self-starter, hands-on, and hardworking administrator and will be in possession of the following:
Duties & Responsibilities
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT WILL NOT BE LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
Invoices & Payments:
- Verify the accuracy of supplier invoices and print where required
- Submit invoices on the Business Central system
- Ensure invoices are correctly allocated to the relevant holding stations
- Contact clients to confirm banking details prior to processing payments
- Review supplier invoices against supporting documentation
- Process payments to cattle suppliers
- Process payments for external transport services
Supplier & Vendor Management:
- Open and maintain new vendor accounts
- Obtain and manage SARS compliance certificates from clients
- Perform general cattle creditor reconciliations
Cattle Administration & Stock Control:
- Daily capturing of cattle data
- Ensure cattle transfers are accurate and balanced
- Capture and reconcile slaughter totals
- Match loads received with supplier documentation
- Maintain and reconcile holding station stock sheets
Communication & Liaison:
- Liaise with cattle buyers and farmers to resolve queries
- Resolve processing and stock-related queries with holding stations
General & Administrative Support:
- Provide relief receptionist support when required
- Perform filing and document management
- Attend to ad hoc administrative duties as required
Desired Experience & Qualification
REQUIREMENTS:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Computer Literate
- Basic to advanced knowledge of Excel
- Computer Literate
- Conversant in both English and Afrikaans
- Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail are paramount
- Must be prepared to work under pressure
- Excellent communication skills
- Administration experience would be beneficial
- Own vehicle
