The Role

Minimum Requirements:

• More than 4 years of experience in a coordination or customer service support role, within property services/maintenance, pest control or facilities management industry is non-negotiable.
• Industry experience in property services/maintenance/pest control or construction environment is essential!
• Must be willing to work after-hours – Monday to Friday from 5pm – 10pm UK hours (18:00 – 00:00 SA), and 9am – 9pm UK hours (10am – 10pm SA) on Sundays.
• Remote role needs to include a professional remote setup, including the correct IT equipment, headphones, webcam and back up Wi-Fi/preferably fiber.
• Sales experience.
• Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.
• Experience working as a Night worker (after-hours and weekends).
• Able to work independently and work with minimal supervision after training.
• Professional and confident manner on the telephone and through email.
• Patient and calm in stressful situations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Respond to and manage after-hours inquiries across multiple departments – pest control, damp, drainage, roofing, and restoration.
• Handling after-hours marketing leads, client communication, and operational support.
• Follow up on reports, leads, and general sales tasks after hours, keeping everything logged for the day team.
• Answer incoming calls and schedule appointments, taking into account travel distances and the specific skills of each surveyor or engineer.
• Any emergency callouts will need to be arranged with relevant teams that are available, manage these and ensure bookings are clear and payment has been received.
• Ensure payments are made within 24 hours of booked jobs and assist the accounts department with evening payment chasing when needed.
• Hand over any unresolved issues, updates, or notes to the relevant departments the next morning.
• Cover bank holidays as part of the after-hours function.
