Outworx is Hiring a Claims Agent (UK Insurance Industry) in Cape Town | R9000 p/m

Outworx is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused UK Claims Agent to join our team within the insurance industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and resolving insurance claims (end to end) within the UK property sector, ensuring fair, accurate, and timely outcomes for policyholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and manage incoming insurance claims, ensuring all required documentation is obtained and reviewed
• Investigate claims by assessing circumstances, reviewing policy terms, and analysing supporting evidence
• Communicate effectively with policyholders, providing clear guidance on coverage, claim progress, and next steps
• Negotiate fair and reasonable settlements with claimants, legal representatives, and third parties
• Ensure all claims are handled in compliance with UK regulations and company policies
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all claims activities and communications
• Identify potential fraud or misrepresentation and escalate in line with company procedures

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of insurance policies and legal protection products
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally
• High level of attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Ability to manage confidential information with integrity and discretion
• Proficiency in claims management systems and standard office software

Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years’ continuous experience managing end-to-end claims processes
• At least 2+ years’ experience within the UK insurance sector
• Must hold a valid South African ID
• Matric certificate (Grade 12) or NQF Level 4 equivalent qualification is essential
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Currently residing in Cape Town
