GATE CONTROL OFFICER
- Location: Boksburg, Gauteng
- Must be able to communicate in Zulu & English
We are looking for a responsible, alert, and professional Gate Control Officer to join our team.
Working Hours
- Day Shift : 06:00 – 18:00 – 6 Days a week
Key Responsibilities
- Control all vehicle and pedestrian access to the premises.
- Verify visitors, contractors, suppliers, and staff entering and leaving the property.
- Maintain an accurate visitors’ register.
- Record all vehicle registrations entering and exiting the premises.
- Conduct basic security and access checks.
- Monitor the gate area and report any suspicious activity immediately.
- Ensure that company procedures are followed at all times.
- Direct visitors and deliveries to the correct departments.
- Assist with yard and vehicle movement records where required.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Previous gate control, security, or access control experience will be advantageous.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Ability to remain alert and observant throughout the shift.
- Honest, reliable, and trustworthy.
- Neat and professional appearance.
- Ability to complete registers and reports accurately.
Skills Required
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good record-keeping abilities.
- Ability to follow instructions and company procedures.
- Professional interaction with staff, visitors, and clients.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.

- Staff attendance where required
- Incident reporting
