CLINICAL PRACTICE & PATIENT EXPERIENCE COORDINATOR WANTED IN DURBAN AT DR MURA HEALTH
Dr Mura Health is looking for an exceptional, highly organised and patient-focused individual to join a growing private medical practice and future therapeutic lifestyle programme.
This is not a conventional receptionist or general administrative position.
The successful candidate will become an important patient-facing and operational member of the practice, helping ensure that patients are well informed, supported and followed up while also coordinating administrative and clinical-practice workflows.
The role will involve working closely with a busy anaesthetist in the hospital environment and will later expand into patient coordination for a developing therapeutic nutrition and lifestyle programme.

- Manage patient communications by telephone, email and messaging
- Assist with administrative tasks, records and paperwork
- Support Discovery Days, follow-up visits and patient coordination for future therapeutic programmes

- Able to manage several competing priorities calmly
- Strong in written communication
- Discreet and trustworthy with confidential patient information

- Online forms
- Shared documents and digital administrative systems
Familiarity with modern AI tools and the ability to use AI responsibly to improve administrative efficiency, communication and workflow would be highly advantageous.
Driving requirement
- A valid driver’s licence and demonstrated, confident independent driving experience are required.
- The role will involve travel between clinical/practice sites and may include collection or delivery of programme materials and patient meal packages.
- Access to a personal vehicle would be advantageous but is not essential, as a programme vehicle may be available for work-related duties.
Highly desirable experience
- Healthcare, medical-practice, nursing, patient-liaison, hospital administration or similar experience is strongly preferred.
