Job Purpose
To perform general manual and routine maintenance work across buildings and facilities managed by Housing Company Tshwane, ensuring a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment for residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning and upkeep of buildings and surrounding areas
- Sweep, pick up litter, and maintain cleanliness of walkways and premises
- Cut grass, trim trees, and remove weeds in landscaped areas
- Clean ablution facilities, offices, and common areas
- Empty bins and remove waste in and around buildings
- Maintain flowerbeds and outdoor spaces
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment
- Operate basic tools, equipment, and small machinery
- Support general maintenance tasks as required by supervisors
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 10 (or equivalent qualification)
- 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience
- Physically fit and in good health
- Ability to perform manual labour tasks
