Job Description

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

To successfully develop and control the sales processes & systems in support of the overall sales effort to win new business and support existing clients. Some support includes to participate in all tender and bid comment processing and ensure compliance and delivery on time of all tenders.

MAIN FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

Processes / Systems

  • Administer Existing sales processes and systems
  • Translate processes into systems (CRM) through the CRM development team
  • Continuous improvement of sales processes (in relation to quality standards, especially Client service and efficiencies) and assist to implement these approved processes with the Sales Support Specialist
  • Co-ordination of ad-hoc process/systems projects as assigned
  • Implementing ISO and other standards requirements into processes, as well as attending ISO meetings and Audits
  • Sales Pipeline Administration

Client support

  • Attending to client queries
  • Investigation and resolution of client queries through interaction with all stake holders, internal and external
  • Generation of all paperwork pertaining to assigned accounts

Sales Team support

  • Support of the day-to-day activities of Sales team such as Ozone related activities
  • Raising MSA’s and raising new business Service Orders (Cabinets/ Power and Satellite)
  • Attend Sales/Operation meetings, facilitate and capture minutes and action tasks with the Sales Support Team.
  • Generation of client presentations on specific account requests
  • Attend to account queries like cancellations and migrations with the Sales Executive
  • Attend to ad hoc client feedback on behalf of sales when and if required.
  • Generation of all paperwork pertaining to assigned accounts
  • Attend client meetings with Sales Executive to find a resolution on a query 

 Tender support

  •   Attend to tender or technical queries as and when required
  •   Analyse and complete RFQs, RFPs, Tenders, Client and Agent Onboarding
  •  Assist Bid Manager in obtaining relevant information for client responses and projects
  •  Maintain technical database of facilities/responses
  • Account Management functions as and when required
  • Prepare and review the commercial aspects of the bid, ensuring all products / services are included in the final price to the customer.
  • Maintain tender task tracker with Bid Manager

Client changes

  • Confirming cancellation details and requesting cancellation in CRM
  • Co-ordination of ‘Assignment of contracts’ and reconciliation of service orders (Account)
  • Co-ordination of Cession documents and Client Name Changes

Data Integrity

  • Maintain data integrity

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum Matric qualification
  • At least 3 years experience in sales process oversight and sales support
  • Proven sales CRM/systems experience
  • Proven experience in data analysis and generation
  • Proven experience in client facing interactions
  • Extensive knowledge of Word, Excel (pivot tables, graphical representation) and Powerpoint features
