Job Title: Remote Team Coordinator (Block Management)

Salary: Dependent on experience (paid in ZAR)
Hours: Full-time, flexible within 08:00 – 19:00 SAST, Monday–Friday
Notice Period: 2 months

About the Role

A UK-based property management company is seeking a highly organised, proactive Remote Team Coordinator to join its Block Management department. This is a full-time, work-from-home opportunity based in South Africa. You’ll be a key player in ensuring smooth operations, compliance coordination, and administrative efficiency for residential property portfolios managed in the UK. No prior experience in Block Management is required.

Key Responsibilities: Operations & Compliance

  • Manage team inboxes, prioritising incoming queries
  • Serve as the first point of contact for email and phone queries from clients and contractors
  • Track and schedule property compliance tasks (e.g., fire safety checks, risk assessments)
  • Coordinate contractor access and maintenance follow-ups
  • Maintain compliance logs and summarise key issues for review

Finance & Administration

  • Support the processing of invoices
  • Oversee accurate record-keeping of contractors, key logs, and maintenance calendars
  • Ensure compliance documents are up to date and organised

Team Support

  • Prepare materials for virtual meetings, site updates, and AGMs
  • Coordinate logistics for UK-based team’s physical site access when required
  • Support smooth daily operations through admin and document management

Requirements

  • Full-time availability, working from home in South Africa
  • Stable internet connection and quiet home office setup
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; training provided on internal systems
  • Ability to align with UK time zone where necessary (some overlap required)
