Responsibilities
- Assist with logistics coordination, including tracking shipments and updating delivery schedules.
- Maintain and update fleet records, driver logs, and vehicle maintenance schedules.
- Communicate with drivers, customers, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare and process delivery notes, invoices, and transport documentation.
- Handle data entry and record-keeping for inventory, fuel usage, and transportation costs.
- Assist in scheduling pickups and deliveries, ensuring timely execution.
- Support the team with general office administration, including filing, emails, and phone inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with logistics and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Matric certificate or relevant administration qualification.
- Previous experience in logistics, transport, or supply chain administration is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and logistics software.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Own car & valid driver’s license
