Application Process
- The process can take anything from four weeks to a year, depending on a variety of factors:
- A recruiter will only contact you if the position for which you applied is still open at the time you apply. If the position for which you qualify is filled, you will only be contacted if the cruise line needs more people.
- A recruiter will only contact you if you meet the qualifications for any vacant positions. Only if you meet the prerequisites of any post onboard will you be contacted.
- Only if you satisfy the client’s criteria for each position will you be contacted. If you have extensive expertise in a field but are eager to switch departments, you may not be qualified for the new role you wish to begin. It’s simply because there isn’t much time for training onboard, it’s a fast-paced environment, and all crew members must have recent experience linked to the position they’re seeking for.
- Some jobs may also necessitate specific certifications. You might or might not be given time to get them.
