Position Overview:

The B2B Appointment Setting Operations Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing the appointment setting operations within a business-to-business (B2B) environment. This position requires a blend of strategic thinking, operational excellence, and leadership skills to ensure the effective execution of appointment setting campaigns, driving business growth and maximizing sales opportunities. The Operations Manager is responsible for leading a team of appointment setters, optimizing processes, and implementing best practices to achieve targets and deliver exceptional results.

Salary: ZAR35,000 per month plus uncapped bonus commission. Average performance compensation with bonus ZAR40,000+

Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate teams of appointment setters to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, training, and feedback to enhance performance and professional development.
  • Establish clear performance metrics and KPIs, regularly monitoring progress and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Develop strategic plans and initiatives to optimize appointment setting campaigns and drive business objectives.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align appointment setting activities with overall sales and revenue goals.
  • Identify new opportunities for growth and expansion, exploring innovative approaches to enhance the effectiveness of appointment setting efforts.
  • Evaluate existing processes and workflows, identifying areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
  • Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to streamline operations and maximize productivity.
  • Utilize technology and automation tools to enhance the effectiveness and scalability of appointment setting operations.
  • Monitor performance metrics such as conversion rates, lead quality, and appointment show rates, taking proactive measures to address issues and optimize performance.
  • Analyze data and generate reports to track performance trends, identify insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their requirements and objectives.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop customized appointment setting strategies and campaigns that align with their business goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in B2B appointment setting or telemarketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with clients and stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
