Time Study Clerk for Weylands | Onsite CT (2 months)
Responsible for observing, recording and analysing the amount of time taken for specific tasks such as sanding, assembly, oiling and spraying in a manufacturing environment. With specific focus on the sanding and oiling departments. The aim is to capture specific time requirements and efficiencies of the processes, to improve productivity, production processes and ensuring labour resources are allocated effectively.
This is a 2-month contract based at our Cape Town DC in Epping.
Main Accountabilities Include but Are Not Limited To:
- Data collection: Conduct detailed observations of each process to understand current practices and time consumption for the various tasks.
- Analysis: Use data collected to identify areas for improvement and determine standard times for each task to be completed.
- Reporting: Maintaining records and reports.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of time studies, including methods, results, and any changes made because of the analysis.
Technical Skills:
- Matric
- Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office)
- Industrial Engineering Graduates would be preferred
