Time-Keeper Administrator for ACT | Onsite Jhb (12 pm – 9:30 pm)

Reports to: Dual role to Timekeeper Manager and Finance Manager in SA.  Also, will work closely with Global Director of Payroll and Global payroll team.

Schedule: 12 pm – 9:30 pm local time. 

Job Description: A business partner (liaison) to operations, HR, and Payroll for the South Africa location (550+ employees).  Will be responsible to ensure all timecards are accurate for the center.   Employee will perform the following (but not limited to);

  • Running various reports in Dayforce to perform audits
  • Auditing time card against IEX and Badge reporting. 
  • Review time cards for manual edits by supervisors and managers, deleted time, deleted pay codes, added time, etc.
  • Work with operations, HR, and payroll to resolve any issues discovered during audits.
  • Training and coaching hourly employees and management on how to properly use Dayforce. 
  • Monitor timecards to ensure all agents have signed off on time card prior to payroll processing. 
  • Adhoc requests
  • Ensuring that all agents with ID issues are sent to HR to be sent home until same is corrected.
  • Issue correctives based on the information gathered from auditing if they are not in compliance with the policy.
  • Ensure all sick leave and vacation leaves are entered in Dayforce.
  • Ensure all overtime that is paid out is approved.
  • Ensure agents are not being paid for abuse of the system. I.e. (break over 30mins or agents clocking in over an hour before their shifts start.
  • Evaluate PTL report to ensure all employees are being paid for exactly what they work.
  • Correct miss punches and long intervals for all employees daily. Ensuring that no one works for the entire day without clocking for lunch in Dayforce.
  • Ensure trainers are moving hours for employees on OJT.
  • Ensure that all leads overtime are validated by auditing the last call they made for the day.
  • Ensure each supervisor hours are correct before sent off to payroll for processing every pay period.

Key qualifications;

Must have the highest levels of integrity and competence.  Knowledge of Microsoft excel and Kronos a huge plus.  Background in finance, accounting, HR, a plus but not required.
