The Sales Training Specialist is responsible for the training and development needs of our staff. This role is responsible for the evaluation of trainees for effectiveness of training and individual employee growth. We are seeking an individual that has a passion for mentoring and teaching others. The Sales Specialist must be highly organized, analytical and proficient with a variety of technologies.
Essential Functions
- Conducts training sessions covering specified areas such as new-hire training, on-the job training and refresher training.
- Coordinates training schedules with the hiring and training demands of new hires.
- Tests trainees to measure progress and to evaluate effectiveness of training.
- Reports on progress of employees under guidance during training periods.
- Identifies employee knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Helps to foster an environment of continuous improvement, innovation, and teamwork by increasing team efficiency and enhancing work quality.
- Build rapport and establish great working relationships with the training team and leadership teams across the organization.

- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities that requires strong project management and decision-making capabilities.

Additional Details
- This position requires a schedule of 9am-5pm CST to support traditional training hours when assigned to a new hire class. Hours may be flexible if the trainer is not supporting a new hire class.
- This is a salaried role and additional hours may be required outside of the standard training hours to allow for preparation of training materials
