The function

In your role as a Sales Consultant, you will be part of our ambitious and rapidly growing sales team based in Cape Town (De Waterkant).

Our sales team converts leads into sales opportunities, advises potential clients to develop solar energy solutions for them, and manages the entire sales cycle from start to finish. You will be working with a team that is mission-driven and determined to make affordable, carbon-neutral, and decentralized energy solutions available to everyone.

Your impact

  • Conduct video consultations with potential customers and build personal customer relationships with future Solyans.
  • Use your consultative sales skills to convince warm leads – people who actively show an interest in our products – to make Soly their preferred solar energy supplier and contribute to the growth of our business.
  • Provide clients with customized solutions that allow them to save costs, be part of the green energy transition, and maximize the benefits of our solar energy system.
  • By building up and growing your own customer base, you will make a significant contribution to a more sustainable South Africa. 

Your profile

  • Able to communicate fluently in English verbally and in writing.
  • Dynamic Sales Professionals: Energetic, motivated individuals ready to embrace the Soly philosophy – no compromises, just commitment to our vision.
  • Future-Focused Leaders: As we boost our sales team, we’re looking for leaders who can not only sell but inspire and drive our mission forward.
  • Have no trouble with a flexible schedule, as we are open from Monday to Thursday until 9:00 PM, on Friday until 5:00 PM and Saturday until 1:00 PM. If you work full-time, we would like to see you two evenings a week. Saturdays are alternated.
  • Bring a lot of positivity, energy, and enthusiasm to make a difference.
  • An outgoing and communicative personality is a good way to describe you and you are a true team player.
  • Have a keen interest in selling sustainable products, and you are tech-savvy.
