Sales Account Executive for Frequent Media | Hybrid CT

Job Description:

The main responsibility of this role is to manage a portfolio of key accounts, serving as the primary point of contact between Frequent Media and its clients to achieve and exceed high levels of customer satisfaction. This involves proactively addressing client needs; identifying and upselling innovative opportunities; providing a start-to-end client-centric service to surpass client’s expectations; maintaining strong company-client relationships; and contributing to a superior, consistent high-end service ethos and delivery throughout the sales process. Additionally, the role involves expanding and diversifying the client base, focusing on increasing the company’s sales revenue and brand in the market.

Responsibilities:

1. Knowledge and Industry Trends:

  • Keep abreast of innovation best practices and broader trends in the media industry to support and maintain an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the client’s brands and products.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in the media landscape and share insights with the sales team.

2. Active Selling and Prospecting:

  • Source new clients proactively and consistently.
  • Utilize insights and research to develop bespoke offerings tailored to address clients’ business challenges.
  • Collaborate with client partner specialists to create customized solutions.
  • Interpret briefs, develop strategically relevant proposals, and present them for review and approval.
  • Uphold the brand status of Frequent Media and negotiate upselling opportunities.

3. Service Delivery and Professionalism:

  • Attend and complete administrative tasks and reports timeously to ensure successful campaign outcomes.
  • Negotiate with flexibility, considering both client preferences and brand objectives.
  • Resolve complaints and queries effectively, minimizing conflict and escalation.
  • Maintain accessibility and promptly respond to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely delivery of client campaigns and communicate progress and outcomes effectively.

Educational Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Matric (High School Diploma equivalent)
  • Sales skills, negotiation, and presentation courses
  • Valid driver’s license

Knowledge and Experience:

5+ years of sales experience

Skills:

  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, and Outlook
  • Excellent administrative, conceptualization, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong time management, interpersonal, and business writing skills
  • Exceptional professional communication skills
  • Sound and rational decision-making and problem-solving skills
