About Us:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Financial Administrator to join our team. As a Financial Administrator at Pineapple Tech (Pty) LTD, your primary purpose is to contribute to the seamless functioning of our finance department by overseeing critical financial tasks and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our financial operations. Working under the guidance of the Financial Manager, your role involves managing invoicing processes, maintaining precise financial records, and overseeing payroll activities. By diligently monitoring accounts, addressing inquiries, and supporting financial reporting, you play a key role in maintaining the financial health of our organization.

General Responsibilities

Invoicing:

  • -Generate and Send Invoices: Create accurate and timely invoices for products or services rendered.
  • -Invoice Management: Oversee the entire invoicing process, ensuring proper documentation and communication.

Account Reconciliation and Adjustments:

  • -Regular Reconciliations: Conduct regular reconciliations of financial accounts. -Adjustments: Process adjustments as needed to maintain accurate financial records.

Payroll Management:

  • -Accurate Payroll Processing: Manage the payroll system to ensure all employees are paid accurately and on time.
  • -Compliance: Ensure compliance with payroll regulations, including tax withholdings and benefit deductions.

Data Entry:

  • -Accuracy in Data Entry: Perform precise data entry tasks to maintain the integrity of financial records and databases.
  • -Database Management: Regularly update and maintain financial databases.

Financial Reporting:

  • -Assist in Financial Reporting: Collect, analyse, and summarize account information to contribute to the preparation of financial reports.

Account Monitoring:

  • -Proactive Monitoring: Monitor customer accounts for non-payments, delays, or other irregularities.
  • -Client Inquiries: Handle billing and payment inquiries from clients in a timely and professional manner.

Compliance and Support:

  • -Ensure Internal Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal financial policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • -Month-End and Year-End Support: Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes as directed by the Financial Manager.

Ad-Hoc Tasks:

  • -Special Projects: Collaborate on special financial projects or initiatives as assigned by the Financial Manager.
  • -Process Improvements: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes as needed.
  • -Financial Analysis: Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support decision-making processes. -Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training and development activities to enhance financial skills.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Diploma and or Degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong technical knowledge.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
