OVERVIEW

As Office Administrator, you’ll provide administrative support to multiple offices, and ensure that all office requirements are met, in line with the business culture and rules and ensure all calls are handled professionally and efficiently.

Your success will ensure the efficient running of company processes, as well as a high level of employee satisfaction, while simultaneously helping you develop your own managerial, administration, and interpersonal skills as an essential part of the company.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

As an integral part of the company’s operations, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Budget expense control & expense tracking.
  • Landlord & lease management.
  • Supplier & customer management.
  • Management of office keepers.
  • Facilitating readiness of reception, boardroom & meeting spaces.
  • Telephone handling & etiquette.
  • Overall support & execution of repairs & maintenance for a portfolio of offices.
  • Provision & management of security controls.
  • Printer, air conditioning units & generator management.
  • Office cleanliness, neatness & freshness.
  • Office specific Health & Safety representation (SHE Rep, First Aider).
  • Overall support to the Health & Safety committee & chairperson.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

To be considered for this position, these are the skills we’re looking for:

  • Matric/grade 12.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a position with comparable responsibilities and goals.
  • Diploma/degree in Office Management or related qualification advantageous.
  • Health & Safety background advantageous.
  • Computer literate on Ms Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
