Top Dog Education, an international EdTech company founded in 2010, has developed a number of online education solutions and have successfully brought these to market. We’re currently focused on our CambriLearn product, with the goal of becoming the global leader in online education. The company is in a high growth stage and is expanding into other curricula and territories outside of South Africa.

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY

We are looking for a Graphic Designer & Video Editor to join our team at CambriLearn. We’ve been delivering online education for the past decade and are scaling up rapidly as the demand for quality home education grows around the world. Our aim is to meet this growing demand with creativity that speaks to customers around the world and unifies the brand across the business. You will work closely with the Head of Digital Marketing and Digital Specialists to shape the creative direction of our brand to continue bringing our CambriLearn product to life.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Taking a creative brief and understanding the needs of the brief and business challenges.
  • Creating and leading strong ‘end to end’ campaigns – from idea generation through to execution into visuals for multiple touchpoints and ensure smooth movement of the process throughout.
  • Bringing a brand and product story to life through compelling, contemporary design and executing to a high standard across the multiple touchpoints of our brand.
  • Designing images and videos for weekly social media content and ads.
  • Designing partner marketing assets (e.g. landing pages, banners, digital ads, etc.).
  • Marketing website redesign and maintenance.
  • Designing content for sales decks.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Loves being creative – you can come up with lots of creative ideas through to concept development, design and art working to final delivery.
  • Enjoys collaborating with others – you’ll work collaboratively with the rest of the team and teams across the business – including Product, Business Development and Teachers.
  • A brand guardian for CambriLearn – you’ll play a big part in making sure that everything that goes out looks, feels, and sounds like CambriLearn and meets the needs of the brief.
  • Comfortable with being hands on as well as managing – this is a player-coach role so we’re looking for someone who can produce excellent creative themselves as well as coach the junior team members in both their creative and project management skills.

  • You are confident and clear in presenting your work and link solutions back to business needs in the brief.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 3 years of experience either in-house or in agency with a portfolio or work for e-commerce or B2C brands with evidence of creative ideas to design execution.
  • A design related degree/diploma.
  • Able to use Adobe Creative Suite Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and After Effects/Premiere.
  • Able to design and execute across digital and print (and be able to artwork for print).
  • Able to animate and edit video footage, graphics and audio.
  • An understanding of UI/UX to visualise how your idea might come to life across multiple digital touchpoints.
