Burnt Studios is Hiring a Remote Retail HR & Payroll Administrator in South Africa

Spread the love

At Burnt Studios, we believe that great businesses are built by great people — and that the best retail experiences start behind the scenes, with teams that are supported, aligned, and empowered to perform at their best.

We’re looking for a highly organised, proactive, and people-focused Retail HR Administrator to join our growing People team. This is a critical role that supports our store network across the country, ensuring that every team member experiences a consistent, professional, and high-standard employee journey.

As a fast-growing retail brand, efficiency is everything. We need someone who thrives in a high-performance environment — someone who takes ownership, moves quickly, and executes with precision. This is not a role for someone who drops the ball. It’s for someone who ensures nothing falls through the cracks.

If you love people, retail, and the energy of a growing business — and you’re passionate about building strong teams, supporting performance, and driving growth — then this role is for you.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is deeply organised, detail-driven, and efficient
  • Has a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Enjoys working with people and supporting teams to perform at their best
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, multi-store retail environment
  • Is passionate about growth — both personal and organisational
  • Lives the Burnt mindset: high standards, strong work ethic, and a commitment to excellence

You’ll be working closely with store teams across the country, supporting everything from recruitment and onboarding to performance processes, employee relations, and HR administration. Your role will be key in ensuring that our people processes scale with the business as we continue to grow.

This is more than just an HR admin role — it’s an opportunity to be part of a team that is shaping the future of retail in South Africa, building a culture that prioritises people, performance, and community.
