Agrinet is Hiring a Receptionist in Centurion Gauteng
Responsible to handle all incoming calls, and the entire well-established and functional telephone system. Receiving visitors to and responsible for own general administration and documentation.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB:
- Operate Switchboard on a daily basis and answer telephone a friendly manner in average of 5 seconds per call and assist all clients in order to deliver excellent customer service
- Screening of call and only transfer when applicable on a daily basis
- Always, when transferring calls to an internal customer ensure the customer is available or someone in the team that can assist.
- Send an email to the internal customer when taking a message with the necessary details (Client name, telephone number, brief reason for call, time called).
- Always determine nature and purpose of the visit
- Immediately phone internal customer to receive visitor at reception
- Do not allow any external visitor to enter the building unassisted
- Ensure that the reception area is always presentable and neat.
- Transfer calls to the correct internal client or assist with the necessary information from external clients
- Manage the Car Wash schedule
- Ensure there is enough sign in paper to the employees on a daily basis and submit to the Risk Manager daily
- Receive incoming hand delivered mail/courier parcels and ensure relevant person signs for it or sign for it after obtaining approval from the relevant person
- Send Birthday Emails to Agrinet employees daily
- Arrange with the relevant line manager for a temporary person when taking leave
Requirements
- National Senior Certificate
- At least 1 year working as a receptionist / switchboard operator Switchboard experience.
