Our platform enables sports teams, broadcasters, and leagues to publish vertical video content akin to Stories and Reels, directly through their owned platforms. Storyteller’s solution is trusted by some of the world’s leading sports organizations to drive fan engagement, increase content consumption, and unlock new revenue streams.

We are looking for an Account Manager with the skills and enthusiasm to manage an account for a high-profile client with unparalleled attention to detail, a deep understanding of their strategy and the drive to learn all facets of the services we provide

RESPONSIBILITIES

What can you expect?

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for our key client, ensuring we consistently deliver exceptional results that meet and exceed expectations.
  • Work tirelessly to move the account forward every day, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance client satisfaction and deliverables.
  • Collaborate closely with the Account Director and integrate seamlessly with other team members, while also thriving in roles that require initiative.
  • Leverage our flexible work environment to independently progress projects and client communications, effectively managing different time zones.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of our processes and collaborate with various teams to ensure prompt, high-quality service delivery.
  • Review and provide constructive feedback on all creative and operational outputs, ensuring they align with the client’s goals and standards.
  • Liaise with team and project managers to ensure comprehensive coverage and resource allocation for our services.
  • Engage with the client daily to understand their evolving needs, process feedback, and resolve issues promptly.
  • Clearly and concisely communicate client requests, assessing feasibility and setting realistic priorities.
  • Develop an expert understanding of our client’s brand, programming, and strategic priorities to guide all interactions and deliverables.
  • Lead the account with a strong emphasis on performance insights and process improvements, fostering an environment of excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS

What’s important to us:

  • Proven experience in account management, particularly with high-profile clients. Experience in the sports industry is an advantage but not essential.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to convey complex ideas succinctly.
  • A proactive and independent approach to work, with the ability to manage a high volume of tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about client needs and requests.
  • A passion for sports and an understanding of its unique industry dynamics is a plus.

Recruitment Process

First, we will invite you to complete an online interview where you will be asked 3-5 questions.

The next step will involve a 45-minute video call with Rob, our VP of Operations, who will get to know you and try to understand if you’d be a good fit for the role, and at the same time answer all your questions.

Finally, a second interview with Bob, our Founder & CEO who you will work closely with on this major account.
