As we continue expanding, we are looking for a dynamic and motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our inside sales team and drive revenue growth by identifying and nurturing leads.
Job Summary:
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will focus on generating qualified leads for the sales team through proactive outreach. The role involves building relationships with potential customers, understanding their needs, and setting appointments or product demos. This individual will play a pivotal role in the early stages of the sales funnel, working closely with Account Executives and Sales Managers to meet targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Prospecting:
- Identify, research, and qualify potential customers from various channels (e.g., LinkedIn, industry directories, inbound marketing leads, etc.).
- Maintain and update CRM with lead activities and relevant information.
- Outbound Engagement:
- Perform cold calling, email outreach, and social media engagement to generate interest in Optamark’s offerings.
- Use a consultative approach to understand prospects’ pain points and determine how our products and solutions can address their needs.
- Appointment Setting:
- Schedule meetings, demos, or discovery calls for Account Executives and Sales Managers.
- Coordinate follow-ups and ensure prospects are properly transitioned through the sales funnel.
- Pipeline Management:
- Maintain a steady flow of high-quality leads by actively managing and expanding the lead database.
- Track and report on key metrics (calls, emails, meetings set, opportunities created) to measure success.
- Collaboration with Sales and Marketing Teams:
- Work closely with Account Executives to ensure qualified leads align with sales strategies and goals.
- Provide feedback to marketing on the quality of leads and effectiveness of campaigns.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
- 1-3 years of experience in an SDR, inside sales, or similar role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to handle rejection and stay motivated to meet targets.
- Experience with CRM tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with email automation tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other sales enablement platforms is a plus.
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
- Goal-oriented, self-starter, and team player with a positive attitude.

- Number of outbound calls/emails per day.
- Appointments or demos scheduled.
- Conversion rate of leads to opportunities.
- Lead-to-deal conversion ratio.
