JRH Engineering & Environmental Services Inc. offers a flexible work environment and will do our best to meet the needs of our staff. In general, our office hours are 8:00am – 5:00pm CST, Monday – Friday, with the option to work from home. Although flexibility exists, JRH Engineering has specific project schedules with deadlines that need to be met and requires efforts from our staff to ensure that we meet our clients’ expectations.
The Sales Representative plays a critical role in actively reaching out to potential customers who have not previously expressed interest in a company’s product or service, initiating contact, building rapport, identifying their needs, and qualifying them as leads to drive new sales through phone calls, often using a provided script, with the primary goal of setting appointments or closing deals directly depending on the sales cycle.
The Business Developmetn associate will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Conduct cold calls for prospective clients.
- Generate new leads by contacting prospective customers through cold calls, identifying potential needs and qualifying them as sales opportunities.
- Research and identify potential customers within a designated territory or market segment using various data sources.
- Call initiation Make outbound calls to prospective customers, introducing yourself and the company’s value proposition in a compelling manner.
- Qualifying leads Ask probing questions to understand customer needs, pain points, and decision-making process to determine if they are a good fit for the product or service.
- Building rapport Establish positive relationships with potential customers by actively listening and demonstrating empathy.
- Overcoming objections Address customer concerns and objections effectively to move the sales process forward.
- Presenting value proposition Clearly articulate the benefits of the product or service, tailoring the pitch to each customer’s specific needs.
- Setting appointments Successfully schedule follow-up meetings with qualified leads for further discussions with sales managers or account executives.
- Sales pipeline management track sales activity, manage leads within a CRM system, and maintain accurate sales pipeline information.
What You’ll Bring:
- 3 + 7 years, outbound lead generation sales experience.
- Strong telephonic presence with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Team player mentality with the ability to work independently toward ambitious goals
- Demonstrable experience in over-performing in a fast-paced, dynamic sales environment
- Excellent organizational skills including prioritization, scheduling and time management
- Obvious resume evidence of high achievement in past sales roles. (Over achiever/Awards)

- 3. ADSL or Fibre internet connection at home: Candidates must provide proof of a reliable internet connection, such as a recent provider bill.
- 4. Backup power solution, to keep online in the event of load shedding.
- 5. Cold Calling Experience: Prior experience with cold calling is essential.
- 6. Able to work US central time zone
