Student Support for Code Space | Onsite CT
Responsibilities
You are responsible for particular classes of students: receiving their course schedule; coordinating the coaching team assigned to the group; communicating with the students; tracking their attendance and submissions.
Success in this role will rest on:
- creating a cohesive team with each coaching group; managing your coaching teams so that students receive high-quality coaching.
- pre-empting what communications students will require so that they navigate the course smoothly
- being able to gain sufficient meta-understanding of the tech industry and course material to communicate to students the bigger picture of what they are studying.
- creating a sense of community within each student group; fostering enthusiasm and engagement
- fluency using complex spreadsheets to track student data. Meticulous attention to detail; and willingness to learn how to use sheets to maximum effect.
- using initiative to meet the needs of each student group
- collaborating within the team
- proactively sharing project progress and updates with team to ensure good information flow
- bias for action — actively finding solutions as unseen problems arise
Requirements
- At least 5 years relevant professional experience such as project coordination/management, client service, customer support, stakeholder engagement
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in an online work environment
- Able to self-manage in order to meet targets on multiple projects
- Able to report critically on targets
