Social Media Marketing Manager for inDrive | Remote SA

We are seeking for a Social Media Marketing Manager to join our team!

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective social media strategies to build brand awareness and engage users in the Africa region (the core focus is on South Africa and Nigeria, but there are other countries with a small amount of content to manage).
  • Create, launch, and manage social media campaigns and brand activations, ensuring alignment with inDrive’s overall strategy.
  • Oversee the creation of engaging multimedia content across multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter), collaborating with design teams and writing compelling copy.
  • Lead the campaigns with influencers with the support of content marketing teammates, enhancing social media content with influencers/media collaborations
  • Direct agencies for campaign execution, ensuring clear communication and alignment with inDrive’s goals.
  • Adapt and localize content for different countries within Africa, recognizing regional differences in audience preferences.
  • Build and nurture a loyal community around inDrive by interacting with users on social media channels.
  • Measure campaign results, adjust strategies based on performance data, and report outcomes to senior management.
  • Manage content calendars and ensure timely publication of posts, particularly during special events or holidays.
  • Work closely with various teams (GTMs, media, CRM, legal, GR, PR) to ensure cohesive and cost-effective campaign execution.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2.5 years in a similar role, with significant experience managing social media, content creation, influencer marketing, and digital marketing.
  • With a curious mindset and trend hunter.
  • Proven experience creating and implementing communication and social media strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms and content creation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (minimum B2 level).
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
  • Experience with content scheduling and analytics platforms (Later, Hootsuite, Buffer etc).
  • Proficiency with G Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Meet)
  • Familiarity with video editing tools like CapCut and Premiere.
