Job Description

We are currently on a search for a Sales Executive (Independent)  to join the largest manufacturer and distributor of major appliances in Southern Africa, to be based in Midrand. The purpose of the role will be to achieve revenue targets and build and maintain a strong relationship with clients. They will be the lead point of contact for all key client matters and ensure that deadlines for clients are met. They will bring in new business from existing clients and will develop new relationships with potential clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Developing a solid and trusting relationship between major key clients and company
  • Resolving key client issues and complaints
  • Developing a complete understanding of key account needs
  • Anticipating key account changes and improvements
  • Managing communications between key clients and internal teams
  • Strategic planning to improve client results.
  • Planning and presenting reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives to share with manager, stakeholders, and use in future case studies or company training.
  • Meeting all client needs and deliverables according to proposed timelines.
  • Analysing client data to provide customer relationship management.
  • Develop field marketing plans for improving sales and profitability.
  • Recommend innovative and creative marketing approaches for revenue growth.
  • Recommend marketing techniques and tactics based on changing business demands.
  • Act as a primary contact to address questions and inquiries regarding market related activities.
  • Managing company assets (retail stands) to make sure it is according to the company standard and will include the corporate ci.
  • Cross-functional communication with all other departments that will include supply chain and trade marketing.
  • Supervise product display and shelving systems as per the store floor plan.
  • Ensure defective or old products have clear out plan and replace with new models.
  • Develop and install banners, posters, displays, flags, etc. in the store.
  • Interact regularly with all store staffs to keep them informed about upcoming store projects and timelines.
  • Educate store staff regarding latest business updates and related action plans.
  • Provide store sales and revenue reports to Manager National Sales.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Matric/ Sales Diploma
  • Excellent communication skills: 
  • Computer Literacy
  • Good Relationship with all accounts: Be able to establish solid relationships.
  • Excellent Team player.
  • 3 years sales executive experience required
