Sales Development Representative for Xero | Hybrid CT
How you’ll make an impact
This role is responsible for recruiting and educating new Xero Accounting Partners from various lead sources and assisting them through the initial signup and education stage, whilst working closely with Territory Account Managers to grow Xero practices in South Africa.
This role will support the National and Senior Account Management teams – ensuring that a high level of data quality enables the rapid and accurate identification of sales activity and the increase of customer satisfaction.
What you’ll do
- Mine new business from:
- Manage the recruitment, education and growth of the new business partner base
- Ensure that your knowledge of Xero features and functionality is kept up to date via Xero training and updated Webinars
- Taking inbound sales calls and responding to prospective customers driving sales conversion
- Ensure Partners and other employees within the Practice attend introductory webinars, events & certification training
- Educate Partners on all partner resources available
- Update our CRM system (Salesforce) with all client communications including calls, emails and meetings
- Maintain and update our CRM system of all practice staff and contact details
- Respond in a timely manner to all Partner enquiries
- Drive attendance at Xero sales events and Partner Forums
What you’ll bring with you
- Experience of achieving high volume sales via telephone, and outbound sales
- Proven sales performance track record
- Prove experience in B2B sales
- Experience/Knowledge of the workings of an accounting practice is desirable
- Consultative sales approach
