The Role:

We are looking for a tech-savvy Cloud Tax Accounting bookkeeper to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is an expert in cloud-based tax accounting solutions, particularly Xero, Hubdoc, SimplePay, and Syft Analytics. If you are a fundi/guru in these platforms and love streamlining financial processes, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, manage, and optimise Xero, Hubdoc, SimplePay, and Syft Analytics for our clients.
• Provide support, training, and troubleshooting for clients and internal teams on cloud-based accounting tools.
• Automate data capture and financial reporting processes using integrated cloud tax accounting solutions.
• Ensure compliance with tax and accounting regulations through accurate system configurations
• Analyse financial data using Syft Analytics to provide insights and strategic recommendations.
• Work closely with clients to customise and streamline their accounting workflows.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and updates in the cloud tax accounting technology.

Requirements:

• Proven expertise in Xero, Hubdoc, SimplePay, and Syft Analytics (certifications are a plus).
• Strong background in cloud tax accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently in both an office environment as well as remotely.
• Strong communication and training skills to support both clients and colleagues.
• Passion for technology-driven cloud tax accounting automation.
