Payroll Administrator for Nandos | onsite JHB

Job DescriptionNando’s South Africa is looking for a Payroll Administrator to join its payroll team in the Johannesburg Head Office. The candidate will be required to analyse, process and review the day to day payroll operations for Nandocas in Casas in order to ensure an accurate monthly pay run.
Minimum Requirements• 1 -2 years of experience in payroll administration KnowledgeWorking knowledge of labour legislation (Intermediate)Knowledge of PAYE (Intermediate)Knowledge of hospitality sectoral determination and main agreements (Basic)Knowledge of tax legislation and remuneration best practice (Basic)Knowledge of payroll system (Intermediate)Numeracy and literacy skills (Advanced) – Advanced Excel skillsOral and written communication skills (Advanced)Microsoft Office skills (Intermediate)
Duties and ResponsibilitiesPAYROLL ADMINISTRATIONPrepare and process payroll input for the casas (restaurants) within the allocated regionReview HR changes, engagements and terminations and process payslipsReview all new Nandoca (employee) filesMake sure all necessary documents are attached to Nandoca records (UIF document, U12.7 forms, U19 forms etc.)Administer acting allowancesEnsure final payments of settlement agreements paid to Nandocas are paid out on timeAttend to all admin payroll queriesAction and complete the weekly EFT payment processProcess all maternity-related matters and ensure all UIF (labour related) documentation is completeCollaborate with and provide support to the People department when requiredReceive and review T&A reports from T&A administratorREPORTSCreate, investigate and action active head count reports daily
