SA Steelworks is looking for a vibrant and energetic Temp Office Administrator. The Office Administrator’s primary purpose is to provide administrative support and services to the SA Steelworks head office.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Switchboard operating
  • Coordinate office activities and operations
  • Manage the day to day running of all administrative duties
  • Assist internal and external clients with any administrative assistance required
  • Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data
  • General Office Admin
  • Modifying timesheets on a weekly, fortnightly and monthly basis
  • Updating and distributing absenteeism reports

Applicants must have the following qualifying criteria:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent telephone etiquette
  • Must be able to work independently as well as in a team
  • Must be Computer literate – MS Office Suite
  • Strong numeric and literacy skills
  • Able to speak and understand fluent English
  • Neat and well- presented

Requirements

  • Matric
  • Office Administration Certificate/ Diploma
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience within a secretarial/ receptionist position
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing environment (advantageous)
  • Own reliable transport
