DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:-

  • Manning the Telephone in a professional and courteous manner;
  • Communications: You will be responsible for any written, verbal (phone, in person), and electronic (email, SMS) communications to prospective parents of the School students, this includes copy editing, proofreading, and revising communications across a variety of channels, and escalating it up the chain where necessary or prudent. Your communication is expected to be well composed, compelling and timely, within the protocol set by your line manager and the organisation.
  • Prepare agendas, pre-meeting briefings and meeting documents;
  • Provide administrative support to the staff members;
  • Handle all inquiries and requests in a timely and efficient manner;
  • Direct visitors and/or parents to the relevant department/office;
  • Typing of administrative and academic material;
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of school events, activities and policies;
  • Administering First Aid to Pupils;
  • Manage and document the school’s lost and found items;
  • Work additional hours as and when required.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Exceptional Customer Service skills;
  • Multitasking skills, able to work accurately under pressure;
  • Good organisational and administrative skills;
  • Enthusiastic, Energetic, Creative and able to use initiative;
  • Very Strong Computer skills;
  • Experience working in a school or an educational setting;
  • Detail oriented with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy;
  • Ability to deal with sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Preferably an individual who has experience working in a School Environment.
