Legal Document Specialist for PJI Law | Remote SA – US Hours (R16 000 p/m)

Spread the love

PJI Law, a boutique, busy, and fast-growing law firm in the Washington, DC area, has an opportunity for a full-time virtual/remote Legal Document Specialist. The opportunity is as challenging as it is rewarding, and is ideal for an achiever with a strong work ethic who is looking for a position in which to grow. Training will be provided, and experience in the legal field is not required.

Your duties as Legal Document Specialist would be to receive, organize and distribute daily mail, prepare and send documents, letters, emails, and faxes, create records in our case management system, organize electronic files, and assist our legal team with various case-related support.

This position requires a person who is obsessed with attention to detail, who can eyeball text in a document and instinctively catch a typo or a formatting error, and who takes great pride in submitting a perfectly proof-read document and a high quality product. If you thought it was strange that anyone would even care about one little typo or formatting error in a document, then this position is not for you.

Our firm strives to help and support those who wish to plan for the protection and security of their families and businesses, sometimes in the wake of a personal or professional loss, and this position is crucial in allowing us to effectively help them. We offer long-term growth opportunities for our team members, and maintain reasonable expectations in order to allow for a sustainable work-life balance. You will be working with other friendly, kind, and wonderful members of our team in three different countries who work hard to get the job done right, who take pride in their work, and who support each other through thick and thin.

In each 2022, 2023, and 2024 we earned the prestigious “Great Place to Work” certification, with 100% of our employees praising our firm as a great place to work in an anonymous third-party survey. Our approach has allowed us to succeed and build a loyal client base that has sustained our strong growth and has earned us various awards as well as enthusiastic reviews from our clients. As a result, in 2023 our firm was honored with a place on the Inc. 5000 list which celebrates the fastest-growing companies in the United States.

In an effort to preserve the integrity of our culture, we are selective in our efforts to identify good people who are also motivated professionals. If this is what you are looking for, then we would love to hear from you.
