Flight Centre Land Support Assistant Role:

To support and provide best add on service for all FCB agents. From booking reconfirmations, special request. We live and breathe our company philosophies and uphold our resilient culture which makes us the best company to work for.

 What you will be doing:

  1. Co-Selling Assistance
  • Work closely with Wholesale agent to assist in booking reconfirmations and special requests to mitigate any risk to business.
  • In depth knowledge of Helio platforms to ensure smooth transition between platforms within operational needs.
  • Deep understanding of the leisure core systems and attention to detail.
  1. Product Expertise:
  • In depth knowledge on your Top 6 destinations product range.
  • Continuous self-development on preferred product and product ranges.
  • Participating in supplier events, training and all forms of self- development.
  1. Customer Experience:
  • Follow the one best way Customer Experience process
  • Strong customer engagement driven through person to person ethos
  • Customer relationship management to promote the brand
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing, in a clear and concise manner.
  1. Systems and Processes:
  • Become an expert on: Helio, Power BI, Compass, all supplier online booking tools and e-mail
  • Follow one best way blueprint to mitigate risk
  • Continuous development on all platforms (self and through the business)
  • Exceptional understanding of front end and wholesale booking systems and processes.

5.  Admin:

  • Processing refunds
  • Reconfirm All Booked Sectors Helio loaded and 3rd party.
  • Communication with suppliers/hotels to assist retail with waivers/favors/ requests etc.
  • Assisting AL and our customers with investigating queries on bookings
  • Assisting our customers with price beats

Must be adaptable. The role and duties will evolve as the system evolves, you need to be able to embrace and promote change.

Attention to detail: Be confident enough in the system to give the correct advice to have few to none write offs in the business.
