Position Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented intern to join our Human Resources team. As an HR Intern, you will provide administrative support and assist in key HR functions, including file audits, employee engagement, and training and development. You will also gain hands-on exposure to various HR processes, such as payroll, recruitment, and employee growth initiatives. This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience and deep insights into HR operations, preparing you for a dynamic career in human resources.
Qualifications:
- Matric or Grade 12
- National Diploma/Degree in Human Resources, or a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Office or Google Suite

- Multilingual with a strong command of English with at least one African language will be an added advantage
- Self-motivated, honest, high integrity, courteous and helpful
- The ability to function well under pressure, prioritize matters and act on them accordingly.
- The ability to function both independently and in a team, take initiative, show commitment, and is motivated to achieve tasks in the required time frame.
- Familiarity with HR systems will be an advantage.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensuring proper filing of HR paperwork (digital and physical).
- Maintaining and updating employee records.
- Coordinating onboarding processes for new hires.
- Ensure accurate payroll input and that it is submitted in time
- Administratively support HR department, on the release of adverts, shortlisting, setting interviews
- Assisting in organizing training sessions and workshops.
- Preparing training materials and tracking attendance.
School hours: This is a 45-hour per week position and may be required to work longer hours from time to time.
