The HR Office Administrator is responsible for maintaining and managing the Company`s HR administrative functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of the leave balances, supporting HR-related activities and procedures. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail and a thorough understanding of HR processes.

The responsibilities will include:

  • · Maintain and manage filing, employment contracts, support, update and track leave balances and disciplinary records.
  • · Maintain accurate and complete personnel records.
  • · Assist with quarterly performance review feedback sessions with line managers.
  • · Generate accurate monthly leave report reconciliations.
  • · Assist in recruitment processes, including job postings, screening resumes, shortlisting candidates and scheduling interviews.
  • · To manage and oversee all HR admin-related activities and employee relations.
  • · Provide general administrative support to the team, including scheduling meetings and handling correspondence.
  • · Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
  • · Ensure compliance with all internal controls, assist in the implementation of HR policies, procedures and programs.
  • · Ensure compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
  • · Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
  • · Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • · Ensure background checks are completed
  • · Strong understanding of HR and payroll-related legislation.
  • · Excellent organizational and time management skills must have a keen eye to detail and must be able to work well under pressure.

Minimum Requirements:

  • · Proven experience in an HR administrative role, preferable in the Hospitality Sector.
  • · Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • · Meticulous attention to detail
  • · Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • · Strong interpersonal skills
  • · Highly ethical and able to handle confidential information
  • · Self-motivated and results oriented
  • · Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google workspace
  • · Able to meet deadlines and provide progress updates
  • · Proactive and takes initiative.
  • · Approachable and enjoys working with people
  • · Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
