Honey Chicken with rice
Whether it is cold or warmer, I love hearty food. This delicious, easy meal that can be enjoyed by the entire family can be prepped, cooked, and ready to eat in 45 minutes or even less when in a pinch.
Ingredients
- Fresh Chicken breasts cut into cubes
Chicken Marinade
- 500 grams chicken fillet
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- Garlic 1 tsp
- Black Pepper 2/3 tsp
Sauce
- Sunflower oil – 15ml
- Garlic clove – 1
- Honey – 85 grams
- Ketchup -100 grams
- Soy Sauce – 20 grams
Flour Mixture
- Egg 1
- Water 150 ml
- Salt 1/4 tsp
- Black Pepper 2/3 tsp
- Garlic Powder 1 tsp
- Flour 120 grams
- Baking Powder 1 tsp
How to cook the honey chicken
- Cut the chicken fillet into small pieces. Add the salt, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix them well.
- Put the egg in a deep bowl. Add the water, salt, garlic powder, flour, and backing powder. Mix until a uniform mixture forms. Add the chicken pieces and let that stand for 10 minutes
- Heat a layer of sunflower oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat (170 degrees). Fry the chicken until golden brown on both sides
4. Put the sunflower oil in a pan and add the grated garlic. Fry for 2 minutes. Add the honey, ketchup and soy sauce. Cook for 2 minutes over low heat. Add the chicken and let it cook until the sauce is well absorbed
