The FMCG Field Sales Representative is responsible in assist in driving onboarding of distributors to RedPay in collaboration with sales team (onboarding and digital trading) and growing organic trade via digital payments and align with the regional budget assigned to. The successful candidate report to Financial and Digital Services Manager.
Main Responsibilities
- Regular market visits with Field Agents, Retail and Sales teams in the region (Daily/Weekly)
- Assist in demonstrating the capabilities of our solutions to Field Agents, key customers and potential clients.
- Ensure customers (Buyers/Sellers) complete KYC onboarding process in line with digital services policies.
- Ensure all KYC Verified customers are enabled to transact and escalate any pending user creation to the finance and digital services manager.
- Assist to Increase merchant adoption of Digital Payments, achieve 80% active ratio, and ensure repeat transactions are achieved.
- Support the Increased adoption of digital products MOM by AVG 10% i.e. airtime top up, bill payment and lending
- Monitor and escalate blockers and on the ground product performance based on market feedback to the finance and digital services manager.
- On the field product training for new and existing field agents.
Experience we think you’ll need:
- Relevant bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 3 years professional experience in digital payment space, and or FMCG
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong experience of analysing problems and resolving them
- Knowledge of the FMCG sector and digital commerce platforms is a plus.
- Keen attention to detail and adherence to deadlines
- Experience in Sales (e-commerce, open commerce, and or Digital products)
