Job description:
IAIAsa is a Voluntary Association Not for Profit with 1000+ members serving the Integrated
Environmental Management Profession. We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Events and Training Administrator to join our team! In this role, you will coordinate and support the smooth delivery of our training sessions, workshops, webinars, and events. You will handle logistics, manage schedules, liaise with vendors and members, and ensure a seamless experience for
participants from start to finish. If you’re detail-oriented, great at multitasking, and passionate about events and learning, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Event and Training Coordination
- Administrative Support (including database maintenance and event registrations)
- Event Budget Management
- Event Communication and Marketing
- Data and Reporting (evaluate event success and provide recommendations)
- Assist with Annual Conference Planning and Coordination
Competencies and Skills:
- 2+ years of experience in event coordination and/or training administration.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Proficient in English. Additional languages are an advantage.
- Experience with Zoom (online meeting platform) and Glue Up (CRM) would be an advantage.
- Experience with graphic design (Canva or a similar programme) would be an advantage.
- Excellent organisational, coordination, and multitasking skills.
- Competent writing and communication skills.
- Motivated, proactive, reliable, responsible, with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure.
Qualifications/Experience Required:
- Graduate qualification (recommended Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Business
Administration, or related field / equivalent experience). - Sincere interest in working in the Integrated Environmental Management Sector. Please note
that this is an administrative position unlikely to drive an environmental career.
