🗣️ We are on the lookout for a Data Capturer to join our Centre of Excellence Team in Cape Town. Our COE team is an interdisciplinary team made up of specialist in different areas of the business that enables skills development, knowledge sharing, and setting standards for best practices. This role will mainly assist our mathematicians in this team.
As Data Capturer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that accurate and timely data is input into platforms and systems critical to the company’s operations, and production line. This includes working with math-related platforms such as Sherlock and handling manual data capture tasks.
🌍 This is a 1 year contract focused on capturing math related data from one system to another.
Responsibilities
What will you be doing?
Data Input and Maintenance
- Accurately input data into specialized math-related platforms like Sherlock or other iGaming tools.
- Manually capture and verify data from source documents into the appropriate formats.
- Ensure data consistency and integrity while inputting into systems.
Data Validation
- Cross-check data entries for accuracy and completeness before finalizing input.
- Identify and correct errors or inconsistencies in data input or source documents.
- Coordinate with relevant teams to resolve discrepancies.
Platform Expertise
- Gain familiarity with math-related platforms (e.g., Sherlock) to ensure efficient data entry.
- Stay updated on platform updates and ensure compliance with new features or requirements.
Reporting and Documentation
- Maintain detailed logs and reports of data captured, including any issues encountered.
- Document processes and create guides for recurring data entry tasks.
Collaboration
- Liaise with game developers, mathematicians, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements.
- Work closely with quality assurance teams to validate the accuracy of entered data.
Quality Assurance
- Regularly audit entered data for errors to maintain high data integrity standards.
- Participate in testing and verification of data in the system to ensure functionality.
Administrative Tasks
- Organize and store source documents securely for future reference.
- Assist in generating basic data reports for internal use.
Support
- Where possible, complete basic COE Support tasks.
- These can include creating and updating documentation, verifying information, logging support tickets and troubleshooting.
Qualifications
