Customer Service Specialist for Air Products | Onsite CT
The above vacancy exists in our Packaged Gas department at our Cape Town facility, reporting to the Facility Supervisor. Suitably qualified candidates who meet the requirements of this role are invited to apply.
Overview & Key Responsibilities
The Customer Service Specialist will be responsible for receiving all customer orders for the gas and equipment and processing them from receipt to confirmation delivery status. The key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
- Customer liaison by taking and processing customer orders;
- Placing orders with suppliers and stock management;
- Maintain customer satisfaction and attend to complaints timeously;
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date reconciliation of stock within the JDE system.
Essential Requirements
- A minimum Grade 12 certificate;
- A minimum of a post-matric qualification in administration or equivalent;
- At least 5 years of experience in a customer service administration environment;
- Experience in stock control and replenishment;
- Strong administrative, verbal, and written communication skills;
- Must have good communication skills and telephone etiquette;
- Must be customer-orientated and deadline-driven;
- Proficient in MS suite and JDE system;
- Must be flexible in terms of working hours;
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
- Own reliable transport.
