Customer Service Agent for Yogurtland | Onsite JHB (paying R8000 p/m)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Team Member in our store. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment, and assisting with various tasks to support the smooth operation of the store.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:
- Greet customers with a warm and friendly attitude.
- Assist customers in selecting frozen yogurt flavors and toppings, offering recommendations when needed.
- Respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and helpful manner.
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve any issues or complaints with empathy and tact.
- Food Preparation:
- Prepare frozen yogurt servings according to customer requests, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the toppings bar, yogurt machines, and serving area.
- Monitor inventory levels of yogurt flavors and toppings, restocking as needed.
- Follow proper food safety and hygiene procedures at all times to ensure the safety of our customers.
- Store Maintenance:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks throughout the store, including wiping down surfaces, sweeping, and mopping floors.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs to management.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including setup and cleanup tasks.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a positive and efficient work environment.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and management to coordinate tasks and address any issues as they arise.
- Support fellow team members during busy periods and contribute to a cohesive and productive team atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- Previous customer service experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and reliable.
- Knowledge of basic food safety and hygiene practices is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods and move around the store comfortably.
- Capable of bending, stooping, and reaching to perform various tasks.
