Plan and facilitate a variety of age-appropriate activities for children and teenagers, including games, arts and crafts, sports, and educational programs
Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care, following all company policies and procedures
Build positive relationships with both children and their parents, promoting a welcoming and inclusive environment
Assist with the organization and execution of special events and themed parties for children and families
Maintain a clean and organized youth area, ensuring all toys and equipment are in good condition
Collaborate with other Youth Staff and shipboard departments to create a cohesive and seamless experience for guests
Attend mandatory trainings and meetings, staying up-to-date with all company policies and procedures
Act as a role model for children, promoting good behavior and enforcing discipline when necessary
Communicate effectively with parents and shipboard management, providing updates on activities and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise
Participate in emergency drills and procedures as required by the ship’s safety protocols
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent, some college education in a related field preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children in a recreational or educational setting
CPR and First Aid certification
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
Flexibility to work long hours and weekends as needed
Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus
